woah! such awesome times this weekend. friday was a bit of a blur, but the party was fucking crazy and despite the drunken guitar smashing and stomping, it was a great time. thanks to Tosa for setting everything up, the Pentagon for letting the party go down there, and all the fuckin crazy ass people that came out, DJs and musicians, laser machines and liquor bottles.
saturday was a really fun time and all the bands were fuckin awesome. despite being down a bass player, The Extras, Inc. still came down and rocked for us, so big ups to them. Vinny Vegas killed it acoustically, and Two Inch Astronaut was amazing. as always, alright, junior. gave us a really hard set to follow, but we managed it with flying colors! :)
and last night we opened up at Velvet Lounge. twas also a wonderful time, with great sets from Self-Evident (who came all the way from Minneapolis) and NASAwives, who were the best instrumental band i've seen in a while. thanks to the bartender who ran my card without asking, because i probably would have left him a bigger than 20% tip in my drunken state.
