NEW ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year! 2016 was a tough year for a lot of people, and we lost a lot of celebrities, but we're trying to remain happy and remember many of us survived and will go on to do great things in 2017 and beyond. We also have a turd for president, but we've covered our noses for worse and we'll get through this.

One of the things that made 2016 tough for us as a band was having to make a really hard decision to scrap the recordings we self-produced for our new album. The recordings sounded good, but not great. It is tough to self-record, and even tougher to self-edit. We tracked the songs for months at one location, then had to move all the equipment to a new location, tracked some more, then we re-wrote the ending of a song and had to re-record it completely, and when we did that we decided to re-do a few other tracks... By the time we were done tracking we were all so deeply immersed in the process that it was tough to distance ourselves enough from the project to mix it. Throw into that pot that none of us are professional recording engineers and that creates a recipe for mediocrity.

But, out of failure comes opportunity. We have really great demos for 12 songs, and we've gone through the recording process with all of them at least once. It is with much excitement that we can officially announce that we are going to record our upcoming full length album at Mobtown Studios in Baltimore, Maryland, with extraordinary producer Mat Leffler-Schulman (Wing Dam, Sun Club). Mat has worked on some of our favorite records and we are super stoked to have him at the helm for this one.

We still don't have a title yet, and we have a lot of work to do before our big release (including re-doing this shitty website), but we are well prepared and confident that we are on the brink of creating our best music yet, and we can't wait to share it with you.

Peace and love,
Craig & the Gregs
